Rachel's Kitchen ----- DOUGHNUTS
As the holidays are on kids demand never ends. Today my little Munchkin wanted to relish DOUGHNUTS.
This was taught by my bestest friend from DXB. She even taught me to make Pao. But I become very lazy to make it. Playing with yeast is not my game. But I gave it a try. The DOUGHNUTS turned out fantastic. They just got over in no minutes. I got to click few pics which I am posting.
Kids were just saying Mamma ur the best
It's awesome when ur able to make ur kids happy with their demands.
Receipe for DOUGHNUTS
Ingredients : -
250 gms Maida
1 egg optional
Half cup milk
Salt to taste
1tblsp sugar and 1 1/2 tblsp yeast
How to Make : -
Take Luke warm water, add sugar and yeast and keep it to ferment for 15 min.
In a bowl sieve Maida add egg , salt , fermented yeast and milk ( if u want sugar for sweetness add when ur kneading the dough) make a smooth dough and keep to rise covered with a damp cloth.
Once the dough rises, make the DOUGHNUTS and fry in deep oil as shown in the picture.
Then u decorate the DOUGHNUTS by sprinkling Castor sugar. Chocolate syrup as u want to decorate
Enjoy your doughnuts ...... without decoration also it's yum
